it is my belief that our day has been quite awesome.
dear colleagues,I again wish to remind us that as the notice for association of campus journalists electioneering process continues to wink at us in the face,I Adebayo Benjamin,alias prolificben of the Megaphone News Agency,hereby seek to have your mandate and support in all ,measures as i stand to vie for the presidency of the association.
the inspiration to take up this challenge is borne on the sole desire to serve selflessly so as to further ensure that better history and success are recorded in OAU campus journalism and the motivation of course,has been pushed forth singularly because i have you -good and success-driven colleagues around to work with.
my manifestos have been drawn not from personal schemata,but from personal consultations with many well meaning members of the association and from well informed alumni whose experiences in the field of journalism are ever unmatched.
the points of agenda which though in lexicons are five,but which in practical sense are all encompassing are as below;
1.Redefinition of campus journalism via first class media work shops and seminars for members.
2.Security of campus journalists independence of ACJ.
3.Balances and prompt press reportage of events as they unfold.
4.Esterblishment of alumni and prospective reunion.
5.Remuneration of members via awards and media trip to reputable media houses.
on a final note,let me state very expressly that our Association-ACJ at this crucial time needs a resolute leader who has unstigmatised integrity with much prolificity and a doctrineering heart to the letters and conducts of true journalism, and in me, prolificben,you have all.
